ABOUT US

Go Automotive opened its doors May 18, 2009 under the ownership of husband and wife team Ashley and Amy Gilbert. With Ashley's technical
experience and Amy's business experience, it only made sense to combine those efforts to create an auto repair business that focused on repair accuracy and customer service. And what a better time to do so than in the midst of a major economic crisis. In a time when consumers were (and still are) deciding to keep vehicles longer to save money, rather than trade them in for a newer model and bigger payment, The Gilberts invested in the proper equipment and technology, opened their doors, and have been helping customers keeps their vehicles going ever since.

We hope that as you search for the right shop for your family or vehicle fleet, you will consider Go Automotive. We will work hard for you, and provide reasonable, dependable, and efficient service. We are here to Keep You Going!

Ashley Gilbert

Ashley was raised in Oldfield, Missouri. He spent his childhood helping his dad, Larry, work on cars, build houses, do farming chores, and endless other hands-on projects that gave him an overall talent in all things mechanical. After graduating high school from Chadwick, he attended and received a degree from Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon returning to the Ozarks, Ashley began his automotive career as a technician at Campbell Ford in Ozark. In his four years at Ford, he was able to further his knowledge in the Ford brand.

In 2005, Ashley was offered a full-time automotive instructor position at Ozarks Technical Community College. During his time at OTC, he was exposed to the latest automotive technologies and was able to apply that knowledge when it came to making equipment purchasing decisions for Go Automotive. Ashley is an ASE Certified Master Technician, and is also certified in light duty diesel trucks.
